Howdy Everyone!!!!
It's been almost a full year since we walked down the center isle of Bethlehem Baptist Church to receive our high school diplomas. Can you believe it? This last year has been a crazy one for me, and God has taught me so much in the past twelve months. But the thing that I've missed the most this last year was the awesome fellowship that I was able to have with you guys.
So, here's an idea. Most of us have a busy summer planned. Work, summer classes, and other commitments are quickly sucking up a lot of our time. So let's try to get something on the calender now! It's been almost a full year since we walked down the center isle of Bethlehem Baptist Church to receive our high school diplomas. For those of you who haven't heard, Mrs. Duggan's husband passed away last year, and just this year she has been diagnosed with spinal cancer. So if I can get enough people interested, I'm going to call her and see if we can help her out with some yard/garden work or something on June 13th. Food would be provided, and we'll bring a Frisbee and a volleyball set up too if people would like.
#2: Wanna revisit another familiar place? If enough people are interested, I can reserve the Island at Northwestern for free. They have a beach, fire pit, and volleyball net, and I was thinking about bringing our instruments to jam with! Because of open houses and whatnot, I'm thinking a Friday afternoon-evening would probably work best. But what days would work for you guys?
And what are your thoughts? Do you guys have any ideas? Please feel free to share!!!
It's been great seeing some of you guys recently, especially at yesterdays graduation of the TEACH class of 2014 (who, honestly, was not nearly as awesome as we were/are ;) ), and I hope to be able to hang out with you guys again before the cooler weather of fall pulls us apart again.
God Bless y'all, and till we meet again
Your Friend,
Joseph Glerum
